The infrastructure expansion project at the University of Victoria required rigorous planning and coordination as the Data Centre had to stay in operation while the new mechanical systems were added. The project involved providing new fluid coolers, computer room air conditioners, an air handler, and sensor less pumps for the addition of a new server. Selected fluid coolers were installed to provide free cooling in the cooler months and adiabatic cooling in the summer.
